Grieving the Loss of a Love
Many years ago, I wrote a book under the pen name Dr. Eleora Han. Part memoir, part survival guide, it was created to help people navigate one of life's most difficult experiences: losing someone they love. I wrote it under a pen name because much of the writing was deeply personal. I met and spoke with many readers over the years, which was deeply meaningful to me. It was grief that connected us on the same journey. It was grief that opened my eyes to what makes us mostly human, our humanity.
Drawing from both personal experience and stories from my work with clients, the book offers practical guidance, compassionate reflections, and simple tools for coping with grief. It is written for anyone searching for companionship and a way forward after loss.
You can find the book here.
LOVE LETTER (Code title)
I’ve been working on a book for the past five years. I’m calling it LOVE LETTER for now, till I officially publish it. It’s about the inner wisdom that lives within you, about trusting it despite what society and the world says. It’s my love letter to you and I can’t wait for you to read it. Here’s a timeline of how writing has taken place:
Year 1: Inspiration, spending hours alone in nature, life’s greatest teacher, and taking notes
Year 2: Writing a draft
Year 3: Realizing my draft sucks and I need help. Working with my writing mentor Mark Matousek
Year 4: Worked with my writing mentor Mark Matousek. I wrote and rewrote pieces over and over and over. I learned how brutal it is to really write.
Year 5: I finish the manuscript, but it is more like a prototype that is only understandable to me. I am currently working with an editor to finish it up.
If I at this point try to get an agent and publisher, this book will not see the light of day until Year 7 or so, so I will probably self-publish it just to get out this love letter to you. Thanks for your patience lol.
With gratitude,
